The event starts with a warm-up networking session before the main events unfold.

A brief speech and welcome message to all guests and presenters.

Scott Robohn will introduce you to the Network Automation Forum. You will get more insights about the NAF, their mission and community around this project. Scott also will discuss emerging trends in networking, automation, orchestration, and observability.

Alp Köse and Adam Baumeister will present a real-life network automation case study on how they upgraded over 500 firewalls for a company from the healthcare industry in just three months. Moreover, the presentation will be complemented by an open-source based demo solution and Q&A session.

A discussion about the network automation journey, hosted by Monika Antoniak. Scott Robohn, Adam Baumeister, and Adam Grodecki will share their thoughts on the network automation journey. About the speakers

Scott Robohn, Co-Founder of Network Automation Forum and Founder of TechSalesCraft
Scott has 30+ years of experience in Internet infrastructure. After many years in corporate settings, he started his own consulting company, TechSalesCraft, and is a co-founder of the Network Automation Forum. He loves to keep learning about and help clients with Networking, Automation, AI, Mobility, Security, Silicon, and more.

Adam Baumeister – Global Solutions Architect at Palo Alto Networks
Global Solutions Architect focused on networking and software engineering. Expert in network automation and programmability. Creator of the open-source netflow collector Goflow.

Adam Grodecki – Product Line Manager, Optical Professional Services
ICT professional experienced in key strategy solutioning dedicated to large convergent operators and enterprises within IP/MPLS, SDN, NFV, network security, MBB, MBH, FBB, OSS/BSS, OTT, RCS, IMS, CS, MW and DWDM, ORAN, FTTx, RFOG and DoCsis, mobile core and 5G RAN incl. private wireless. Adam focuses on technical expertise, architecture evolution, business development, service monetization, and smart offering expertise.

Monika Antoniak – Director of Engineering and Professional Services at CodiLime
Monika is a Director of Engineering with over 15 years of experience in the telco industry, designing, prototyping, testing and implementing solutions. She has worked with different vendors and thus looked at different realizations and different points of view.
To keep abreast of rapidly evolving technology, she has broadened her view and added SDN & NFV to the picture to be able to work with complete, automated network solutions.

Alp Köse - DevOps Engineer at CodiLime
A DevOps and SysOps Engineer with a System Administrator background and strong Linux enthusiasm. Alp has been involved in many automation projects with Ansible, and has been developing in Python throughout different stages of his professional journey. He has also been working on Terraform deployments on different Cloud platforms.
As a versatile person, he has taken on different responsibilities in different projects on system design, architecture and product engineering.
