WEBINAR

VNF automated deployment in the cloud

How to use infrastructure as code to deploy VNF in a public cloud

This webinar was live on February 28th, 2023. If you’d like to get a recording, fill out the form, and we will send you a direct link.
VNF deployment in the cloud

VNFs are a widely-used solution in both telcos and enterprises. They provide great scalability, increase efficiency, and create opportunities for automation.

Furthermore, VNF deployment can also be automated. In this webinar, we want to show you how such automation can be done in a public cloud.

If you are interested in any of the following challenges, you should definitely join us for this event:

  • How can you simplify and accelerate the process of VNF deployment?
  • What are the benefits of VNF deployment automation in the cloud?
  • How can you use infrastructure as code in your organization?
  • How to save time on Day 0 and Day 1 operations?

We’ll also present a hands-on example of automating VNF deployment in a public cloud. In this demo, we will automate the deployment of three VNFs.

Make sure you don’t miss it!

Agenda

Why should you automate the deployment of virtual functions?

First, we want to convince you that deployment automation is important and beneficial. We’ll explain in what ways it can be used and how it can help you save operational cost and time. We will talk about the benefits from both business and development perspectives.

Tools for VNF deployment automation

The process of deployment automation in a public cloud requires specific tools. We will explain why we chose the ones we use. We’ll also talk about the tools you should use when automating VNF deployment on-premise.

Demo presentation

In the main part of the event, we will show a hands-on demo of automated VNF deployment in a public cloud. The demo will include custom code based on Terraform. We will automate the deployment of three VNFs: Network Load Balancer, DNS, and App Gateway to the AWS public cloud.

Q&A
Finally, there will be time to ask questions. We encourage you to take part in the Q&A session. Our speakers will be happy to answer your questions.
